Ok so some of these are obvious.. Beaches, parks, and nature reserves abound in SoCal..Wondering what might fit you best? Let's get specific:
Ocean Beach-Laid back atmosphere with nice dog beach on one side
Mission Beach-Young crowd with Belmont park and WAVE house for extra fun in the sun
Children's Pool (seal beach)- Located in La Jolla not recommended for swimming because of the local wildlife but sure fun to watch!
Imperial Beach- never been...how did you like it?
Pacific Beach-Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance
Wind and Sea-Picturesque with large boulders and crashing waves even in the shallows
Sunset Cliffs- visit at low tide for a scavenger hunt of fish, anemones, and crabs in the tidepools
What if you don't live on the ocean? You can still have fun around your area. Have you heard of these places?
